There are many reasons, one that comes to mind right now is that I want people to have the experience of being heard and feeling like they matter. I believe this is a meaningful way to make an impact in the world, one person at a time.

We pay respect to First Nations Elders; past and present, and we acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and that a treaty has never been signed. Shapes and Sounds acknowledges the devastating impact of colonisation and brutality on the mental health of First Nations and Indigenous people. As Asian settlers on this Sacred land, we strive to utilise our own ancestries' experiences of colonisation, displacement and collective grief to ensure that we no longer perpetuate oppressive structures.
Shapes and Sounds is a certified social enterprise which is a business that exists to create measurable social impact. We invest at least 50% of our profits into our mission.
